I want to introduce you to a truly monumental attraction in southern Nevada that I am confident will become a favorite for children, educators, visitors, families, and students of the environment and Las Vegas history. I had the opportunity to tour the Springs Preserve several months ago and was amazed at the vision and energy that has gone into creating this educational experience. I am proud that nearly $50 million from the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act, which I wrote, has been used for this cultural and biological resource. The Springs Preserve opens to the public on June 8, and I encourage all southern Nevadans and anyone visiting the area to experience it for themselves.
