Senator
Ensign's days in Washington, D.C., are extremely busy
with meetings, committee work, press conferences, briefings,
and other engagements. Senator Ensign especially enjoys
welcoming visiting Nevadans to Washington, D.C. Nevadans
are encouraged to attend a weekly breakfast hosted by
Senators Ensign and Reid every Thursday morning that
the Senate is in session. Senator Ensign's office also
offers tours of the Capitol and other information to
enhance your visit to our nation's capital.
Nevada
is home to Senator Ensign. A fourth-generation Nevadan,
Senator Ensign lived in northern Nevada until his family
moved to Las Vegas when he was in high school. Senator
Ensign graduated from Clark High School, attended UNLV,
and opened the first 24-hour animal hospital in Las
Vegas. Senator Ensign, his wife, Darlene, and their
three children live in Las Vegas.
